U.S. ABC Reports on Crayon Pop's Exploding Popularity, 'Dance and MV'

U.S. ABC news reported on Crayon Pop's popularity.

On August 28, ABC news covered a story titled, 'Will Crayon Pop be the Next Big Sensation after 'Gangnam Style?'

The anchor stated, "These new rookies may be funny and strange, but they are currently blowing up a storm in K-Pop these days. Their 'Bar Bar Bar' music video has been gaining much attention online and could quite possibly be the next 'Gangnam Style'. They then released footage of various people doing their famous dance moves.

They also stated, "Although their song doesn't have much meaning, their dance moves and lyrics are easy to follow and fun for anyone. Unlike the 'sexy' trend in K-Pop that is going on now, they are going in a completely different direction and it seems to be working."

Crayon Pop commented, "We wanted to make something funny to make people laugh. We are all busy and tired with work and life so we wanted to add a bit of a smile to everyone's day."

On August 22, ABC news visited Korea to meet with the group for an interview as well.
