Jang Hyuk to Host SNL Korea and Show Off Comic Side

Actor Jang Hyuk will be hosting tvN's "SNL Korea" on August 31, and plans to put on an unstoppable comedy show.

On August 28, CJ E&M's co-producer An Sang Hwi said, "Recently I met up with Jang Hyuk to discuss ideas for the upcoming show. Unlike his calm and reserved appearance on television, he is much more fun and entertaining, and has a cheerful side to him. I believe he will not disappoint the audience, and instead showcase one of the best comedy shows with his outstanding entertainment skills." It's hard to imagine the charismatic Jang Hyuk taking on the role of a comedy show host, but perhaps the audience will be pleasantly surprised at his sense of humor.

Jang Hyuk, this "Real Man" soldier who does his best in everything he is assigned, is expected to show off "19 & over" humor, self-dissing, and various other types of humor on "SNL Korea."

"SNL Korea" is based off of 38-year running popular American live TV show "SNL (Saturday Night Live)." Yoo Hee Yeol is expected to join the show on August 7.
