Ladies' Code "Pretty Pretty" Too Much Like miss A?

Ladies' Code just released their MV for "Pretty Pretty" and well, it's definitely pretty. The video concept has a doll house theme with little male minions catering to the girls' needs, which should be how real life is but that's for another article. It's a bright video with loads of eye-catching colors and cute scenes in it. The production crew really put their work into creating those props and the product was worth the hard work.

The song itself is poppy and catchy and I was impressed by the vocals. The most memorable member from the group to me personally, is main vocalist So Jung. Perhaps it's the platinum blonde hair or the fact that she can carry out some serious notes, but whatever the reason, So Jung is definitely the most stand-out member in the group and in the video. Fun fact, So Jung was a contestant on "Voice Korea," re-confirming my statement that this girl can sing!

The part where it gets tricky for me as a viewer is their dance moves. The choreography is highly reminiscent of miss A's "Breathe," and Wonder Girls' "Tell Me" smashed me together and I can't say I'm too impressed with the glaring similarities.

All in all, I give "Pretty Pretty" a YAY and throw a high-five for So Jung for learning how to stand out amongst the crowd. What are your thoughts on the song and MV?
