X Men: Days of Future Past Star Jennifer Lawrence Talks About Being Naked On Set As Mystique

With "X-Men: Days of Future Past" hitting theaters next year, Oscar winning cast member Jennifer Lawrence has opened up about her character Mystique, the blue-skinned shape shifter who grew up with Charles Xavier and teamed up with Magneto.

In this sequel to "X-Men: First Class," Lawrence as Mystique will be traveling through time with Magneto fight against a world comprised of Sentinels, robot mutant hunters. Another part of the storyline is Xavier, now a professor, trying to cope with Mystique departing from him to be with his once close friend Magneto.

While Mystique's look is more developed in the sequel, so is te mutant's psyche.

"Some of the Mystique look is a little different, but we’re still using the same paint. But she’s different in this film too," explained Lawrence. "She was struggling – like a lot of normal humans – with the way she looked, and she was covered up a lot in the first movie, but this time she is Mutant and proud.”

Although Lawrence is more exposed in the reprising of this role, she still can enjoy wearing funkadelic clothes.

“I’m naked, but when I do get to wear clothes, I love the ’70s outfits," she added.
