Nokia Vs. Samsung 2013: Finnish Manufacturer Mocks Android 4.4 KitKat, 'Breaks' Samsung Smartphone

A year ago, Samsung officially dominated the mobile phone market for becoming the top manufacturer for the first time in its history, dethroning the reign of Nokia.

And now, amidst talks regarding the alleged hasty Nokia sale to Microsoft, the Finnish manufacturer may still want to throw some punches to its former rival before officially calling it a day.

In an image uploaded by the Twitter account of Nokia Germany, it clearly bashes Android's upcoming 4.4 version, named KitKat by Google officials this week.

The photo shows a Samsung Galaxy S4 'broken' in two pieces, pretty similar to how KitKat bars look like before you eat them.

Above the broken phone are the words "Have a break, have a ..." which clearly talks about KitKat, the chocolate bar from Nestlé.

While the posted photo is simply full of witty humor, most bloggers see the act as a minor cheap shot that only seeks to get the attention, especially because the other party has not retaliated with their own 'weapons'.

Just a few days ago, Nokia took a picture of its truck parked beside an ad of the Galaxy S4 Zoom, mocking the supposed cameraphone with its own Lumia 1020, which has a 41MP camera.
