PlayStation Plus Free Games: Download ‘Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection’; F1 2013 Now Available For Only $53.99

US gamers can now download one of the PlayStation Plus free games this September, Capcom's Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection.

On September 3, Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection hit Sony's Instant Game Collection as one of the PlayStation Plus free games for this month. It includes two full games, namely, Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, which according to Co-optimus post are "both PlayStation Move rail-shooting titles."

Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection was originally launched last year, in June, and for several weeks this month, it will be one of the PlayStation Plus free games for the US subscribers. The game supports two players, and it is similar to classic arcade shooting games such as Area 51 and House of Dead.

Those who are interested to grab these Playstation Plus free games will need to allocate some space to their Hard Disk Drive, as the two full games included in the Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection are about 12GB in size.

Aside from the PlayStation Plus free games, there are also discounted titles to be featured this month. For instance, F1 2013, with a regular price of $59.99 is now only available for $53.99. Moreover, Puppeteer gets a $4 price cut from its original price of $39.99.

Other PlayStation Plus games offered in a discounted price are Zombie Driver HD, KickBeat and Retro City Rampage.

Moreover, PlayStation Plus subscriber can also enjoy a discounted rate for the pre-order-only F1 2013 Classic Edition, as reported by Computer and Video Games. The game features "extra classic content from the 1990s and additional classic tracks".  PlayStation Plus subscribers can get it for only $67.49, compared to its original price tag worth $74.99.

Sony also confirmed that Knytt Undergound will exit from the Instant Game Collection list on September 10.
