Dwayne Johnson ‘Hercules’ Filming Continues; ‘The Rock’ To Reprise Role In ‘Fast and Furious 7’ And To Star In ‘The Fall Guy’?
Dwayne Johnson's name continues to be linked to Terminator 5 as it is rumoured that the 41-year old wrestler/ actor is being considered for a part in the upcoming Arnold Schwarzenegger movie. But even as speculations continue to surround T5, The Rock is busy with "Hercules: The Thracian Wars."
In his twit last week, he shared his transformation from himself to the demigod, saying, "Blade slashes, claw & animal teeth gashes. Daily 4hr make up process."

He also posted in Facebook, "..this is my 5th month of a strict 7 meals a day diet, 4am wake ups to workout 2x's before I come to set. Shoot intense scenes for 12hrs, but before that Im in my hair and make up trailer for 4hrs every day getting prodded, poked, pulled, pushed, glued, painted w/ tattoo cover, applying animal teeth punctures, scars, claw slashes, dirt & blood by a multitude of handlers."
He added, "The longest and most challenging movie I've ever filmed. Worth every minute of the grind, cause we're making something epic."
'The Scorpion King' is certainly busy, for even while he's filming in Budapest, it is said that he is in negotiations to star in "The Fall Guy," the film adaptation of the TV series which starred Lee Majors (Six Million Dollar Man) back in the 80s.
Quoting Variety, "Dwayne Johnson is in negotiations to star in a feature film version of the TV show 'The Fall Guy' that Hyde Park and WWE Studios will produce and co-finance."
Johnson has been doing a lot of projects lately - left and right. He has played roles in five movies released this year alone, namely: as John Matthews in "Snitch"; as Roadblock in "G.I. Joe: Retaliation"; as Paul Doyle in "Pain and Gain"; as Luke Hobbs in "Fast and Furious 6"; and as Detective James Ransome in Empire State. He will reprise his role in the Vin Diesel movie "Fast and Furious 7", to be released in July 11, 2014. And it is rumored that he will be in "Journey 3: From the Earth to the Moon."
Other than filming, the muscle man is always busy keeping in top condition. He said, "...but I'm here in Budapest filming HERCULES - it's 6am - Im hittin' the iron..."
"Hercules: The Thracian Wars" is an action-adventure film based on a five-issue comic book series by Steve Moore that debuted in May 2008. Set after the classic story of the 12 Arduous Labors of Hercules, the film focuses on the demigod becoming a wandering soul, who turns his back on the gods, and, together with a handful of similar-minded companions, enjoys every bloody battle he gets into. It is set to be released on July 25, 2014.
