‘The X Factor Season 3’ Premiere: Reality Show Will Focus On Talent, Not Judges; Simon Cowell Gives New Judges A ‘Warm Welcome.’

"The X-Factor Season 3" USA edition will premiere on September 11 and 12. The show will feature two new judges, but the show's producers would reiterate that it's not about them, it's about the talent.

The show will still feature Simon Cowell at the judges' table. Demi Lovato will also return to the panel. Two new additions are Paulina Rubio and Kelly Rowland.

Simon Cowell will still be the harsh, razor tongued judge. He states: "I think this is going to be a really fun series. The whole purpose of making this show is to find a star ... the number one movie in the world is [currently] 'One Direction,' and it just shows you that you really can live your dreams if you've won one of these shows. The fun this year is, are we going to find the next [star]?"

Kelly Rowland, formerly of Destiny's Child fame, did not escape Cowell's wrath: "As you can see, we're having a wonderful time. Simon has been complete hell to work with, but we love him anyway ... We hope that you get to see that and that it comes across this season. We have some really incredible talent and some people that really want this."

X-Factor had an unintentional barb at its rival, "American Idol." This year's Idol edition featured the feud between Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey. The two diva judges totally overshadowed the lackluster contestants and resulted in the lowest rating Idol series in history.

The US edition of The X Factor has yet to produce a successful act akin to the UK edition's "One Direction." Last year's winner, country crooner Tate Stevens probably won't make it. Cowell and the judges hope to break that trend on September 11
