Bruno Mars To Perform At The Super Bowl XLVIII’s Halftime: Is He Enough To Wow Thousands Of Football Fans?

The National Football League's annual Super Bowl is undoubtedly anticipated by millions of football enthusiasts worldwide. In the USA alone, viewers of last year's event have reached 100 million.  Performances during the event's half-time are considered a great deal, that's why organizers make it a point to only enlist promising stars.

For the Super Bowl XLVII, which will be held on February 2 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey,  reports say that the 'When I Was Your Man' singer has been chosen to perform.

It can be difficult for Mars since the event will take place in an open-air stadium situated in area that's known for its susceptibility to cold weather and storms.

As early as now, several brands have been negotiating with the organizers to guarantee that they will have a secured advertisement spot in the much-anticipated sports event. According to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, there is "more buzz around this Super Bowl this year than any Super Bowl in its history."

More than being pressured, the 27-year-old singer and songwriter should treat the halftime as a wonderful opportunity to boost his career further. Mars being acknowledged at the MTV Video Music Awards last month for best male video and choreography has also increased the people's expectations of his future performance.

Previous halftime performers at the championship game include, Madonna, Beyonce, and The Black Eyed Peas.
