iPhone 5S Specs Rumors: New iPhone Looks Exactly The Same As Previous Model, Fingerprint Scanner Confirmed, According To Leaked Image

Tomorrow, we would all witness the announcement of the new iPhones after what have been a hype-filled couple of months. But before the day we have all been waiting for, there's always a time for one last leak.

According to GSM Arena, Chinese website CTech was able to get their hands on the specifications of the more expensive iPhone, and compared it to previous models.

As you can see from the image, all the dimensions of the iPhone 5S are the same with its immediate predecessor, save for some minor changes which are not really noticeable when you look at them.

First up is the primary snapper. While it was retained to 8 megapixels, Apple managed to increase its aperture, F/2.0 (from F/2.4), so the phone can perform better when it comes to low-light shots.

The image also indicates an improvement in video framerate from 60fps to 120fps, though GSM Arena pointed out that the previous iPhone model does not play videos at 60fps.

Thankfully, the rumored fingerprint sensor was confirmed by the image, as well as improved battery life (from 225 to 250 hours standby). In spite of this improvement, the battery will remain the same. Reports said the improvement may be attributed to the new A7 chipset which is placed under the phone's hood.

While all these specifications and details are mostly disappointing aside from the fingerprint scanner, we still cannot confirm this until Apple unveils the iPhone 5S itself. So let's all hope there's more to the new iPhone flagship.
