Upcoming Android Phones 2013: T6 Confirmed As HTC One Max, Possibly Nearing Market Release

HTC did not announce anything about its rumored phablet during the IFA event, but that does not prevent the Taiwanese manufacturer from developing its bet to go up against Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 and Sony's Xperia Z1.

Ladies and gentlemen, the HTC One Max.

For the past several weeks, this HTC superphone was hidden under the codename T6. But on Monday, notorious leakster Evleaks confirmed that T6 is actually the upcoming HTC One Max.

According to several rumors and renders, the One Max will look similar to the HTC One, just was Sony's Xperia Z1 looks like the Xperia Z.

The confirmation also brings great news to bloggers as it indicates that the Taiwanese-based company is already gearing up for the announcement and release of the device.

A few days ago, Samsung raised the bar higher with its new Galaxy Note 3 phablet. HTC wants to take on Korean company head-to-head with the prompt release of its own smartphone.

A month ago, HTC also released a 'mini' version of its One handset to compete with the Galaxy S4 Mini, and it seems it is planning to go after Samsung even in the phablet territory.

Rumors say the HTC One Max is expected to have a 5.9" screen, a Snapdragon 800, and other upgrades from its predecessor. Stay tuned for more updates.
