Iphone 5s and Iphone 5c Launch Today; Apple To Unveil 5 New Features Including Fingerprint Sensors!

The iPhone 5s will be launched today. Perhaps the biggest feature that Apple will present is an entirely new phone. The iPhone 5c, a phone that targets a different market altogether. For their flagship phone, Apple will show 5 new features along with the other tweaks.

According to CNET, these are some speculated features of the iPhone.

Starting with the colors - The iPhone has always been available in two standard colors - black and white. This time,  Apple's manufacturing partners in China indicate more colors like gold and champagne for the iPhone 5S. The iPhone 5C, which could have a plastic body, will be released in a variety of colors, similar to the iPod.

The Camera- It will feature higher resolutions competitive with that of its rivals. Apple is very sensitive about this, and since the magic number is 13 megapixels, the iPhone 5s is expected to be at the same range.

The fingerprint scanner - Apple has bought Authen Tec, a company known for fingerprint sensor products and systems. A biometric system is perceived as an effective deterrent to theft. Also, unlike passwords, fingerprints cannot be shared nor forgotten.

Recent leaks have shown iPhone pictures that have a renovated home button. It is reasonable to believe that these are the sensors mentioned.

Faster processor - There were reports that the Apple A7 chip will be used for the iPhone 5s. The A7 is Apple's fastest chip, and this will translate into a much-powerful processor .

iOS 7 - the iOS 7 release is almost as highly anticipated as the iPhones themselves. It is touted to be one of the most revolutionary upgrades in years. What better way to test it than a new iPhone.
