Jimmy Kimmel Twerking Fail Video Prank: Hit YouTube Clip Of Girl's Leg Catching On Fire Was Fake And Late-Night Host Was Behind It [VIDEO]

Jimmy Kimmel twerking fail video prank: The late night talk-show host came out during Monday's episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" by revealing that the "Twerking Fail" video that has been a huge hit was a prank.

Kimmel revealed it on his own show that it was a two-month plan that worked in every single way it was designed to. During "Jimmy Kimmel Live," he brought out the girl whose leg caught on fire in the twerking fail video. The other prankster is really Daphne Avalon.

Avalon is a professional stuntwoman and took a vow of silence to not ruining the intentions of the video. She was told not to reveal to anybody that it was indeed a prank. Kimmel said on the show that they didn't tweet it, they didn't do any media interviews and let it play its own course after it was uploaded to YouTube.

The video had hits in the tens of millions.

"We just put it on YouTube and let the magic happen," Kimmel said on his talk-show.

Kimmel reveals it was a prank after he showed what happened after the camera stopped rolling. It showed Kimmel come into the room and put out the fire on Avalon's leg.

What's to be learned from all this? "Hopefully," Kimmel said, this will "end twerking forever." Let's hope America can accept that challenge.
