Upcoming Android Phones 2013: HTC One Dons The Gold Color To Compete With iPhone 5S, Leaked Photos Show

For the past few days, Apple has been receiving compliments for its iPhone 5S flagship that comes with an improved CPU, a fingerprint sensor, and the champagne gold color. But in case you are looking for upcoming android phones 2013 which have a similar color, then this new variant of the HTC One may please you. 

According to GSM Arena and Engadget, Chinese microblogging site Weibo posted photos of an alleged gold version of the Taiwanese manufacturer's current flagship. 

As you can see from the photo, it features the same sleek style and design of the HTC One which is well-loved by its fans, only this time covered in what appears to be exactly the same hue of gold used in the iPhone 5S. 

This is certainly not novelty for HTC, which is known for releasing several color variations of its phones. Just this year, the HTC One added the Ruby Red color of the HTC One for Sprint users. Another red version, Glamour Red is also available in the UK. During the IFA event in Berlin, we were also introduced to Vivid Blue, which is exclusive from BestBuy. 

However, this will certainly make the HTC One stand toe to toe with the gold-donned iPhone 5S. Does it have a chance to go up against the top smartphone brand in the US? We'll see.
