Lady Gaga Reacts To Miley Cyrus, Molly, And Admits Dating Women

Lady Gaga has come to Miley Cyrus' defense.

Yes, that's right, Lady Gaga defended Miley Cyrus, although the two are very different...and apparently, no day is safe from Miley Cyrus news.

Even weeks after the controversial MTV VMA performance, Miley's twerking antics are still causing controversy-and, apparently, worthy of comment.

Gaga discussed Miley (the person), Molly (the drug), ladies (the gender, as sex partners) and a host of other things with Bravo heavyweight Andy Cohen on "Watch What Happens Live" on Wednesday.

About Miley, Gaga said, "I mean, I just think everybody needs to lighten up and leave her alone," Gaga said. "Because it's pop music. Everybody's entitled to their own artistic expression, and if you have a problem with it, just change the channel."

Note: Gaga, who famously wore a meat dress, was wearing a sparkly seashell bustier and a gigantic weave studded with starfish. So. Yeah.

The "Born This Way" singer, whose new album "ARTPOP" will soon be released, tore into the haters and weighed in on Miley might be, well, the way she is.

"I don't understand the incessant need to constantly go on and on about hating things all the time because, what, she's 20 years old? And if anything, I give her props. You know, she's growing up in front of the entire world and maybe she's not so happy with stuff she did in her career when she was younger and she wants to be free, so let her do what she wants."

It's a long way from Hannah Montana, that's for sure.

However, she didn't defend twerking, saying, "I think that people need to stop putting the letter T in front of the word 'work.'"

Gaga also defended people who booed over One Direction winning the song of the summer award.

"I was completely embarrassed for MTV and for America during that award show," Gaga told Cohen. "Because if I was in the UK and I had won, there is no way that anybody would have booed because it's so impolite. Keep your ... feelings to yourself and politely clap and smile and then go be a normal person and talk about me behind my back!"

"I've taken a few dips in the lady pond," Gaga said. "I like girls. I know people think I just say things to be shocking, but I actually do like p****."

Gaga admitted that back in the day, she'd even go to gay bars.

"I find lesbians to be way more daring than straight men when it comes to coming onto you. And I really like that," she revealed. "It wasn't until I found a guy that could come onto me as strong as a lesbian that I fell in love."

Gaga defended Miley, but she doesn't defend Molly. Ecstasy can be dangerous, she says-as in the case last week when people died at concerts in New York City and Boston.

"I've done it [during] my raver days. I definitely wouldn't encourage it because it can be dangerous, especially if you don't know where you're getting it from."

"I should use this opportunity to say be careful with Molly," Lady Gaga said.

What do you think of Gaga's opinions on all this? Is she right?
