Upcoming Windows Phones 2013: Lumia 1520 May Not Be Available Until November, Packs Massive 3,400mAh Battery

For the past few weeks. we have been on the lookout for upcoming Windows phones 2013, and Nokia's reported Lumia 'Bandit' is certainly at the top of our list. As the first (and probably the last) phablet from the Finnish manufacturer before its sale to Microsoft, Nokia may go all out.

According to WP Central, the phablet named as Lumia 1520 will boast a 6-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 800 processor, 32GB of internal memory with microSD support, 20 megapixels of PureView camera, and a whopping 3,400mAh battery for endurance in everyday usage. The battery in Nokia's upcoming Lumia device is also a bit bigger than that found in Samsung's recently announced Galaxy Note 3.

While specifications for this phablet are pouring in, WP Central also tipped that while it would be announced in an event on Sept. 23 in New York, it would not hit stores until the first few weeks of November, just in time for Christmas.

Techno Buffalo also indicated that the delay in release may be to 'sync' the phablet's release to the release of of the GDR3 update for Windows Phone. This update will enable supported Lumia devices to display full HD resolution on their screens.

Nokia is set to announce the 6" Lumia 1520 phablet together with a rumored Windows RT tablet.
