iPhone 5S Release Date: New iPhone To Be Released Online At Midnight, 8 A.M In Stores, On September 20

For Apple fans out there, the iPhone 5S release date will be on Sept. 20, and it will be released both online and in Apple stores throughout the US.

In an email sent by Apple, the Cupertino company announced that its recently announced flagship, the iPhone 5S will be available on its website starting at 12:01 A.M. PST. Meanwhile, those who prefer to get their phones right away may also visit any of Apple's stores, and release will start as early as 8 A.M.

This is the first time Apple will not be offering pre-orders for its new flagship. The iPhone 5C on the other hand has been available for pre-orders as early as 12 MN today, and will be released with its sibling on the 20th as well.

In case you want to get your iPhone 5S right away in a store near you, then you better arrive early - and we say days early. According to Techno Buffalo, a line has started forming near the Apple Store in NYC, and we assume other stores get the same treatment.

In case you don't know much about the iPhone 5S yet, this is a quick refresher. The phone looks pretty similar to its predecessor, the iPhone 5, though it will come in two new colors - champagne gold, and space gray.

The new Apple flagship smartphone will also feature the highly touted fingerprint sensor, a super fast A7 chip at 64-bit, and improved camera features.
