Upcoming Smartphones 2013: LG Introduces Vu 3, Comes With 4:3 Display, Packs Specs Similar To G2

There are a number of good-looking upcoming smartphones 2013, and if you are looking for a brand-new Android experience, this smartphone may be just for you.

LG has recently announced its new smartphone, the Vu 3, which is a successor of its Optimus Vu. But if you think this phone is just like any Android currently available on the market, then you're wrong.

It features a 4:3 screen, which makes its overall dimensions look squarish in design. But this is no design flaw, as the Vu 3 is particularly aimed at users who often read documents and browse Web pages using their smartphones. LG claims viewing documents and websites would be easier even without putting the phone into landscape mode.

Aside from the 5.2" IPS LCD screen with 1280x960 resolution, the Vu 3 packs several features which are similar to the Korean manufacturer's current flagship, the G2. These specifications include the 13MP snapper, quadcore Snapdragon 800 processor, Adreno 330 GPU, and LTE support.

According to GSM Arena, the LG Vu 3 may hit the shelves before the end of the year.
