Pokemon X And Y Rumors [UPDATE]: Final Starters Evolutions, More Fairy-Type And Pokedex Additions

Pokemon X and Y are just around the corner, and a slew of rumors have hit Pokebeach regarding the starters evolutions, Fairy-type Pokemon, and Kalos Pokedex additions.

Keep in mind that these are just rumors and are unconfirmed until proven otherwise.

For starters (pun intended), some rumors have surfaced regarding the finale evolution of Froakie.

According to the rumors, Froakie will become a Water/Fighting dual-type and will resemble a poison dark frog that uses its legs to attack. It will become heavier and will be mostly dark blue.

In addition, rumors of a few more Pokedex additions have appeared.

--Trusk: Grass/Rock Pokemon with long green tusks and grey skin.
--Apparachnid: Ghost-type spider Pokemon which appear in caves. Grey with blue spots and has a glowing abdomen.
--Quillom: Normal/Poison porcupine Pokemon with white skin and purple quills.
--Badger Pokemon: Unknown name, but it has dark brown stripes and knows a new biting move.

As far as evolutions, the rumors state that Bunnelby and Helioptile will both have an evolution. Bunnelby's evolution will be Ground/Dark and will be much larger. Helioptile's evolution will stand on two legs with two yellow triangle designs on its face.

With the newly introduced Fairy-type in Pokemon X and Y, the rumors believe that Chansey, Dunsparce, Clefairy, Togepi, as well as their evolutions will now have the Fairy-type label.

Beyond that, here are some miscellaneous Pokemon X and Y rumors.

--A Wailmer game will be included in the Super Training mini-games.
--Team Flare will be featured at the beginning of the game in a TV segment, encouraging trainers to match their style and Pokemon.
--The opening cinematic will be in 3D, depicting the player character watching Yveltal (or Xerneas?) fly across the sky. Callback to the iconic Ho-oh scene in the anime?
--Xerneas and Yveltal's 3D models can be rotated using the analog stick in the title screen.
