Homeland Spoilers: After The Premiere, How Will Carrie Handle Being A "Target"? [VIDEO] Strapped Down To A Hospital Gurney, Is Carrie's Mental Illness Being Used Against Her?

Homeland Spoilers Ahead: Episode 2 of the Season 3 airs tonight, and viewers are excited to follow up with the action after a cliffhanger packed premiere episode.
The last season of Homeland ended with an explosive twist - the CIA headquarters Langley was bombed, and the people responsible pinned it on Brody, the soldier turned terrorist turned politician turned CIA asset.  Carrie helped Brody escape, and now she is vulnerable to the inevitable questions about the bombing.
In the premier episode of Homeland season 3, Carrie is shown testifying  before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence 58 days after the attack on Langley. Senator Lockhart reveals a memo offering Brody immunity for his assistance in killing or capturing Nazir. Carrie is shocked by this and her lawyer asks to adjourn the hearing; somebody at the CIA is leaking information to the Committee, but nobody knows who. The meeting is adjourned until the next day, when Lockhart questions where Carrie was the 14 hours after the attack when her statement claimed she was unconscious. Carrie states she didn't know this was a trial and invokes her Fifth Amendment rights.

Carrie is made a target even further by the actions of her supervisor Saul during the premiere of Homeland.  Saul sat in front of the U.S. lawmakers and confirmed on live television the news that came out before he testified that Carrie had sexual relations with Brody.

Noting that it was not entirely an agency-related matter, Saul revealed Carrie's bipolar mental illness,  saying how she tried to hide it from the CIA for ten years.

A video for this weeks' episode of Homeland shows Carrie being strapped down to a hospital gurney - perhaps she is being hospitalized as a means of control.  How will she find Brody now?  Stay tuned!
