Deion Sanders hospitalized for possible kidney stones or appendicitis, which would require immediate surgery or worse to take care of the issue.

The NFL hall of famer landed at LAX airport in L.A. when Deion Sanders felt sharp pains in his gut, TMZ reported. He was hospitalized though he needed some help in order for him to even make it there.

Prime needed immediate attention and told TMZ that he received assistance from two firefighters and actually was able enough to snap a picture and post it to Twitter with the two men. No word on exactly what these firemen did for Deion Sanders before he was hospitalized has been released yet.

The 46-year-old currently is an analyst for the NFL network. Besides a hall of fame career with the Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Falcons, Washington Redskins, Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers, Sanders had an on-and-off 13-year career in the MLB as an outfielder.

During his career, he hoisted two Super Bowl trophies. One of the trophies was with the 49ers and Cowboys. He actually did it in back-to-back years with both teams.

Sanders is an eight-time Pro Bowler and member of the All-Pro team. In 1994, he won the AP Player of the Year. He's also a two-time NFC Defensive Player of the Year and maybe his most impressive football stat is with 19 touchdowns as a defensive player, which is an NFL record.
