Girls’ Generation Captivating on France TV

Girls’ Generation appeared on France’s no. 1 talk show ‘Le Grand Journal’ showing the hallyu wave in Europe as well.

The girls performed “The Boys” on February 9 on French TV channel CANAL plus. Once the group appeared on stage the audience went to a frenzy singing along the song, some even chanted in Korean in the middle of the song.

After the performance the panels and host of show Michael Denisot mentioned, “This is a kind of passion rarely seen. All of the members are so great it’s hard to choose any one over the others.”

During the short talk session after the performance of “The Boys” the members shared, “We’re a group of nine members. We were picked out when we were little, and then the group was made. This is our second time France, but it’s our first appearance on TV. We’re so happy to hear such passionate cheers.”

Girls’ Generation has started off in the right direction as they appeared on ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’ and ‘LIVE! With Kelly’ followed by the most recent appearance of France’s talk show ‘Le Grand Journal.’

K-Pop has proven through the appearances on TV that it can extend beyond their limited number of enthusiastic fans.
