Rosie Huntington-Whiteley; Jason Statham's Flame Is Now A Certified Designer! Talks About 'Transformers' Acting Fail

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley used to be the face of Marks & Spencer. Now she has graduated to being a designer of her own lingerie line. It doesn't hurt that she can model it herself.

It also doesn't hurt to have an action superstar for a boyfriend. Her boyfriend, Jason Statham, almost 20 years her senior, has helped her break into acting. Despite her dismal and heavily criticized debut in 2011's "Transformers: Dark of The Moon," she has shot a new film, another action sequel, "Mad Max: Fury Road."

Just last summer she was promoted from being the face of Marks & Spencer to a real certified designer (with M&S's Soozie Jenkinson) of her own line "The Rosie" from the Autograph Sleepwear Collection. It was a smashing success as it was the fastest-selling collection in the company's history. 

She admits to being affected by the harsh criticism of Transformers. In an interview with The Guardian, she shares: "I'd be lying to say I didn't. I have a much healthier relationship with it now than a few years ago. It was very upsetting for me - there was this other Rosie that was becoming famous and it was quite an out-of-body experience. I didn't know how to handle it. I cut myself off from everything. I wouldn't go on the internet. I hid for quite a while. I got very nervous in public, actually." Of the reaction to her film debut she says: "There was... not a lot of support for me during that time."

 One minute she was "trundling on" as a model, "then all of a sudden I'm on the biggest movie of all time. I'm on set as a lead role, but with no idea what I'm doing. I took the opportunity, because how was I supposed to say no?" "[But] people want to see you fall. Your fans want to see you fall. Everyone wants to see you fall."

Too bad for her critics, she did not. Rosie has rised from her humble roots as an awkward, out-of-place teen from the farm in Devonshire. That was ten years ago. Look at her now. Most people tend to, as she is one of the most photographed women in the world.
