Nokia Lumia 1520 Release Date Rumors: First Windows Phone Phablet Arriving On October 22?

One of the hottest topics in the smartphone worlds is the Nokia Lumia 1520 release date and recent rumors suggest that it may arrive late October.

Nokia's forthcoming flagship device for its Lumia lineup seems to be already on the horizon as more Nokia Lumia 1520 release date rumors are emerging online.

It could also be because of the issue with the Windows Phone GDR3 software update, which is believed to be important for the Lumia 1520.

Thus, the recent speculations nowadays are targeting October 22 as the Nokia Lumia 1520's release date during the tech firm's event. Nokia has already sent out invitations for its upcoming event on October 22, including various hashtags such as "Innovation Reinvented." However, it did not specifically confirm that Nokia Lumia 1520 will be part of the event, but, most likely, it will.

As for the Nokia Lumia 1520 specs, it is expected that it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, which is also found on high-end smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Sony Xperia Z1. Moreover, it will have a huge 6-inch screen size carrying 1080p resolution. As for the camera, it may have both the 5 MP and 16MP camera sensors, as source of The Verge claimed. However, there are also speculations suggesting that it will come with the 41 MP PureView camera, which is featured on the Lumia 1020.
