iPad 5 Release Date Rumors: New Tablet With iPad Mini-Like Form Factor To Arrive In The Market On November 1?

iPad 5 release date rumors continue to intensify even more.

More reports about the iPad 5 release date are emerging in the mobile world, suggesting that the new Apple tablet will be launched this month, alongside the second-gen iPad Mini 2.

According to speculations, iPad 5 unveiling may happen on October 15, during an Apple event. International Business Times believes that after its launching, the iPad 5 release date in the market will be set on the first day of November.

Aside from the iPad 5 release date rumors, Apple fans are especially curious as well as to what upgrades and new features they could find on the next-gen iOS tablet. One of the alleged iPad 5 specs is that it will have the form factor similar to iPad Mini, because as posted on IB Times, the Cupertino-based tech firm wants "to make the full-size iPad look and feel more like the successful iPad mini." Thus, the iPad 5 may have the thickness, symmetrical speaker grilles, aluminum unibody, less tapered back and thin side bezels similar to that of the iPad Mini.

Moreover, iPad 5 is expected to have a better processor which may come in the form of the A7 chip, which is also found on the iPhone 5S. But it is also possible that Apple will go for even better, the A7X chip, which has similar performance of the A7 chip, only optimized for the iPad.  Furthemore, in the camera department, the iPad 5 camera may be equipped with 8 MP camera. It is also assumed that the iPad 5 will come with a fingerprint sensor.
