GTA V Online Character Progress To Be Reset Tomorrow? Tweeted User After Alleged Conversation With Rockstar Support [UPDATED]

Last Saturday, Rockstar was finally able to fix the log-in issues that have been plaguing players since GTA V Online was launched on October 1. However, players are still encountering problems such as unable to save character progress and lost items. To remedy the issue, Rockstar even managed to provide some tips to help players save their progress.

In the midst of all this, a GTA online player named Phil McKessy tweeted a pic of an alleged conversation with Rockstar stating that the game will undergo a universal reset tomorrow, October 8, at 12PM EDT.

We'll try our best to confirm as soon as possible whether this is accurate or not.

UPDATE: Officially FAKE

In Rockstar forums, the developer finally stated that it does not plan on resetting character progress for all GTA online accounts. Whoever McKessy is, he will surely get some hate from other Twitter users.
