Bon Jovi To Perform At Kate Middleton And Prince William's Kensington Housewarming Party; Royal Couple Opts To Have A Charity Event

The housewarming party of the Duke and Duchess Cambridge at Kensington palace will have Bon Jovi as its performer. Instead of having a typical festivity, the royal couple decided to make the most out of the housewarming by throwing a charity affair. The 'Bed of Roses' singer has been invited to perform at the charity event which will be held in Prince William and Catherine Middleton's 20-room mansion.

The beneficiary of the event will be Centrepoint, a nonprofit organization that helps homeless with their basic needs. The palace's State Apartments will be hosting the gala. Guests will be welcomed with a champagne reception in the mansion's ballroom. Dinner will then be served as Bon Jovi performs in the royal gardens.

With their 11-week old son Prince George, the couple will wait first for his christening to be over before having the house blessed. The event will expectedly take place on November 26.

According to Entertainment Wise, Prince William is a fan of the 51-year-old rock artist Jon Bon Jovi. During the wedding of one of his cousin, Prince William reportedly joined the karaoke fun by singing 'Livin' on a Prayer'.

Guests who want to attend the event and have a glimpse of the couple's new love nest can purchase tickets for £ 5,000.
