Taylor Swift Reportedly First Eyed Zayn Malik But She Got REJECTED: Harry Styles Is Only The Second Option

One Direction's Zayn Malik will tie the knot with Little Mix's Perrie Edwards anytime this year. The engagement of the young couple is not free from controversies especially after reports have circulated that Taylor Swift used to have her eye on Malik.

According to Life and Style, it wasn't actually Harry Styles whom Swift was interested in. The publication's source confirmed that the 'White Horse' singer's initial target was allegedly the English-Pakistani 1D member: "Taylor had her eye on Zayn Malik. The feelings weren't mutual and when Zayn found out she was interested, he turned her down. That's when she swooped in on Harry."

However, a representative from Swift's camp has denied such allegations.  After their breakup, Styles and Swift felt awkward with each other. At the MTV Video Music Awards 2013, Swift even made an unsolicited remark pertaining to her ex-beau.

As for Malik and Edwards, the two are still trying to work on a feasible wedding date. Malik previously said that money would never be an issue in their wedding. Should a date be finalized, the young boy bander is willing to spend more than a million pounds for the affair.
