Lamborghini Veneno Roadster Will Blow Your Head Off!! The Most Expensive Car In The World Takes Its Top Off

To celebrate Lamborghini's 50th Birthday, Lamborghini has made the most awesome supercar in the world. That was months ago, and now they have the roadster.

The Lamborghini Veneno is a fierce looking sportscar that would probably be in science fiction movies as recent as a year ago.

If you're interested, you have to get in line. It will be a very short line though. The Lamborghini Veneno only had four units in its inauguration in Geneva and three were already purchased. There will be nine Veneno roadsters and the internet billionaires are quick to the draw of their search engines.

What's amusing is that the Veneno, as a roadster is not a convertible. There is no roof for this model at all. They were thinking that maybe if you drive fast enough, the rain drops won't be able to recognize you.

Not having a roof for $5.3million, trumping the non-roadster version of the Veneno ($4m) as the most expensive car in the world. Not quite a bargain, but it's Lamborghini you're talking about. The bargain section is in another continent.

This is more than ten times the price of the firm's Aventador model while the same figure could buy 335 Ford Fiestas.

The numbers released by the Italian car firm through Daily Mail:

"LAMBORGHINI'S SUPERCAR IN NUMBERS

Engine: 6.5-litre V12 developing 750bhp

0-62mph (100kph): 2.9 seconds

Top speed: 220mph

Weight: 1,490kg

Number built: nine

Cost: £3.36 million

Equivalent to: Three x Bugatti Veyrons / 20 x Ferrari 458 Italias / 560 Dacia Sanderos"

"A statement from the Italian firm called the Veneno Roadster 'one of the most exceptional super sports cars of all time'.

It added: 'The Veneno Roadster is extreme and guarantees an intense driving experience - because open means truly open.

'There is no roof, just a strong rollover bar for optimum safety. The design is focused on optimum aerodynamics and stability through fast corners -- with handling akin to that of a racing prototype: '

Lamborghini claim every detail of the car's body has been designed to boost downforce and minimalise drag in an attempt to optimise its handling on the road and track." (Quotes from Daily Mail)
