The New Ipad Mini Launch On October 22: Retina Display For The New Ipad Mini?

The New iPad Mini and iPad 5 are due for launch this October 22. Workers are seen decorating the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco for the upcoming event. The venue's decorations are matching with the invites sent to press this week - colorful autumn leaves with a single Apple logo.

In one of his interviews during the iPhone announcement last September 10, Apple's CEO Tim Cook stated, "Our teams are hard at work on some amazing new hardware, software and services that we can't wait to introduce this Fall and throughout 2014."

The event is expected to unveil new Apple products, which include - the new iPad mini, iPad, and updates on the price and release of its new OS X Mavericks.

In addition, speculations about what to expect for the new iPad mini arises - a brighter and sophisticated retina display perhaps or a faster processor than the first generation iPad mini? Rumor has it that Apple could even launch two iPad mini models, an iPad mini with retina display and one with a lower resolution model.

It is more likely that the new iPad mini will stick to its 7.9 inch display, but with a heavier and thicker body if it were to adapt a retina display. How about colors? Is there a chance for Apple to produce colorful iPad minis? Well we wouldn't really know as the giant company is still mum about what to expect in its event.

Apple fans prepare to fall in line again as, reports suggest that manufacturers of Apple are having a hard time producing smaller retina displays. This may implicate a two to five million ratio of iPad minis when it hit the market early this November, according to Jefferies analyst Peter Misek.

"We still have a lot to cover" was the title of the company's invite for the press and this is perhaps what we should expect from them this 22nd of October.

Unveiling of new line of Mac computers could happen in the event as well - Retina Macbook Pro and Mac Mini with faster and better battery life due to Intel's Haswell processor.
