Miranda Kerr To Not Appear In 2013 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show; Supermodel Wants A TV And Film Career

Much to the disappointment of her fans, Miranda Kerr has refused to be a part of this year's Victoria's Secret show. The Australian supermodel says that her priority is to have quality time with her husband Orlando Bloom and their son, Flynn.

"They asked me to walk in the show, and I really wanted to, but I have to be in Asia that week," she explained.  Since 2007, this will be the first time that the model will not be appearing in the show excluding the time that she was pregnant with Flynn in 2010.

Kerr likewise explains that she talked to the brand's chief marketing officer Ed Razek about her inability to divide her bodies into two to honor two commitments at the same time: "When I spoke to Ed, he was like, 'I'm really upset that you can't be here!' but I've got another contract and commitment at the same time. I can't be in two places at the same time, you know."

The brunette beauty is likewise hoping to land a project in TV and film in the near future. According to Page Six, she is currently talking with several acting agents about the possibilities that await her. She has reportedly met with Meryl Poster, president of Weinstein Company TV, after her short appearance on 'Project Runway: All Stars'.

If the actress will indeed pursue a career in acting, she can enlist her veteran actor husband's help for guidance.
