Kristen Bell And Dax Shepard Tied The Knot – The Actress Officially Confirms The News Via Twitter
It’s official the “Veronica Mars” star, Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard tied the knot. The long time couple who have been dating, since 2007 were determined to get married after the state of California legalized gay marriage again.
The couple was very firm about their support to same sex marriage, "We would feel weird taking advantage of a right that's not available to certain citizens of the state we live in," Bell, told PEOPLE last August 2012.
"When they legalize marriage for everyone ... we will get married, " Shepard added.

Prior to the proposal her long time beau already popped the question a three years ago, giving her a Neil Lane ring with a fancy-colored, three carat emerald cut diamond ring, a "real cool piece of jewelry," according to Bell.
Kristen Bell,32, and Dax Shepard, 38, parents to their daughter Lincoln, got married last Thursday, Oct. 17 at Beverly Hills County Clerk’s Office nearby courtroom, reported first by TMZ. The ceremony was said to be discreet and spontaneous as the couple intended only to pick up their marriage license.
Bell was all tears when they made their vows, according to an insider. Apparently, the couple did not want any wedding, "We're not having a wedding,"
Bell said in an interview. "It's not a desire of either of ours to have any sort of day of celebration for us. I feel like we get enough attention in our daily lives and we just want something sort of private that involves pen and paper," she added. According to Bell’s tweet a day after tying the knot:
