Mary-Kate And Ashley Olsen Already Clad In Chanel And Marc Jacobs As Children! Sisters Explain Their Motivation For Creating Clothes

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are deemed as one of this generation's most stylish stars and recently, the two reveals that they have been donning clothes from designer labels even as child stars.

For their show 'Full House', the sisters' wardrobe were already comprised of high-end pieces including from Chanel and Marc Jacobs which were specially made for children.

The 27-year-old Olsens have similarly explained the reason for their fascination in designing clothes: "We were designing clothes for ourselves as we were so petite So I think that is when we became obsessed with fit, and now the obsession has become a profession."

As children, they can recall wardrobe fittings to be time-consuming:   "We'd be in six-hour fittings three times a week. We had to wear 12 different outfits!"

Apart from designing pieces for their fashion label The Row, the Olsen sisters are trying to live a life away from the glare of publicity.

"There is a threshold in New York, and once you pass that and are considered a New Yorker, they leave you alone. But we're at the office every day, then home or out for dinner, so there aren't the opportunities for them to take pictures. For the most part you try and avoid it at least," Ashley Olsen said.
