Amanda Bynes Transferred To A Malibu Mental Health Center For She Was Scared That UCLA Medical Center Patients Are Worse Than Her; Doctors Praise Her Efforts To Recover

Amanda Bynes has reportedly switched treatment facilities. From the Ronald Reagan halls of the UCLA Medical Center, the 27-year-old actress is now in the Canyons Treatment Center in Malibu. The decision to transfer silently took place about three weeks ago. 

According to the lawyer of the Bynes family, the doctors attending to the needs of the actress suggested the move especially afetr making "great strides towards recovery." As opposed to accounts that claim that the Nickelodeon star is being treated for substance abuse, the family attorney says that she is receiving one-on-one psychological care from the center.

All treatment can be handled on site, from detox to evidence-based treatment to aftercare. Apart from addicion, the center likewise provides treatment for several mental health issues including depressesion, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.

A source close to the Bynes family told TMZ that the actress already feared UCLA especially after seeing people in worse condition than her. Fearing that her safety might be compromised, she rarely left her room. 

Bynes was asked to enter the center after intentionally starting a fire in the driveway of a Thousand Oaks home. Several antics risking the lives of others followed her West Hollywood DUI case. 

The attorney nor the centers have provided details about the condition the actress is getting treated for.
