Once Upon A Time Season 3 Spoilers: Stephen Lord, Marilyn Manson Cast As Rumplestiltkin's Father And The Shadow

"Once Upon a Time" season 3 has enlarged its cast even more, with spoilers confirming two upcoming cast additions in the form of Stephen Lord and Marilyn Manson.

According to The Huffington Post, Marilyn Manson will grace "Once Upon a Time" season 3 as the voice of Shadow, the entity which steals souls and kidnaps children for Peter Pan.

"We've always been enormous fans of Marilyn Manson. We wanted to cast someone with the vocal ability to make our skin crawl," says Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis on the season 3 casting spoilers.

Reportedly, Shadow is "a character whose voice will give life to the very essence of Neverland."

Spoilers confirm that "Once Upon a Time" season 3 will debut Marilyn Manson as Shadow in the eighth episode in mid-November.

Meanwhile, fans will get to see Rumplestiltskin's father in the form of actor Stephen Lord.

Spoilers confirm that Lord will play Rumple's father on "Once Upon a Time" in a flashback which shows why he was a bad father, and how cowardice was passed down the generations.

"We've hinted in the past that his father was a coward and that his father's name was something that haunted him and that his father left him," says Kitsis to TVGuide.

"This is a man who wants to break the cycle of his past. He wants to be a good father, but it's like that quote, 'I can resist everything but temptation,' so that's also his weakness."
