In three starts with the Buccaneers, Freeman threw three interceptions to two touchdowns. In five games, the Vikings have turned the ball over 12 times. Their offense gained 290 yards last week vs the Panthers. Watch the free live stream online of Monday Night Football to see if the 25-year-old can resurrect his career against the Giants on a nationally televised game.

"Any time you step into a situation where you're the new guy, there's always kind of an awkward getting-to-know-you phase," Freeman told reporters.. "But I think that goes back to the character of this organization just from top to bottom -- a lot of quality people that are dedicated to winning first and foremost. So it's been a smooth adjustment."

The Giants are 3 1/2 games out of first and if they want any shot at making the playoffs, they must win on Monday night. If they don't' their season could potentially be over. Their offense hasn't been as advertised as it has scored 103 points, while an improved defense has allowed 209 points. Some of this has to do with interceptions returned for touchdowns thrown by Eli Manning, who is having a down-year.

"It's not fun playing this game and losing and not feeling like you're helping your team," Manning said. "But it's not going to change the way I treat each day or treat each practice and treat the games. I'm going to compete. I'm going to work hard and do whatever I can do to try to put our team in a situation to win a game."

New York could be without Brandon Jacobs at running-back because of a nagging hamstring. Jacobs ran for 106 yards and two touchdowns last week. Newly signed Payton Hillis and rookie Michael Cox will be used to help the poor running-attack of the G-Men.
