"Streaming video requires Safari 4 or later on Mac OS X v10.6 or later; Safari on iOS 4.2 or later; or QuickTime 7 on Windows. Streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 5.0.2 or later,"Apple announced on its website regarding the special event October 22.

According to the International Digital Times, the event’s keynote presentation and product announcements will also be posted on the Apple events page after the launch. Aside from the launching of the new iPads and the new MacBook Pros, the availability date of the OS X Mavericks is also expected to be disclosed.

There have been conflicting reports if the Mac Pro will come out tomorrow, as more rumors suggest that it may actually be made available by Apple around mid-November.

The Apple event will take place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Franisco and will have a 10 AM PDT kick-off time.

The iPad Mini 2 will feature a Retina Display and a major improvement on the 1024 x 768 pixel resolution of its predecessor, according to a report by U.K.’s the Mirror. It may also have a TouchID fingerprint scanner.

The company is also expected to update the 9.7-inch iPad. It’s supposed to have an A7X processor, battery improvements and enhanced screen resolution.

Both iPads are expected to be slimmer and lighter than their current versions and would most probably be priced at the same range. They also will have iOS 7 out of the box.

The OS X Mavericks is expected to ship in time for new MacBook Pros to hit store shelves. It’s unconfirmed if the upcoming latest line of Apple laptops that will be announced tomorrow will have OS X Mavericks out of the box.

Other rumored specs for the new MacBook Pros is faster wi-fi. MacBook Air offered 802.11ac WiFI, which basically means faster connectivity. If the same WiFi configuration comes to the new MacBook Pros, we will only see faster connectivity and better online performance for the flagship laptop.
