Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Update: 4G Version Of Device Confirmed To Receive Android 4.3 Update According To Australian Carrier

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 update: Now that the rollout for the Android 4.3 update for the Samsung Galaxy S4 has started, news of the upcoming and highly anticipated update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has surfaced and it confirmed Samsung’s earlier announcement that it will arrive by year’s end.

According to Gotta Be Mobile, a report by Australian carrier, Telstra, show that it will be providing the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update to its users carrying the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Samsung Galaxy S3 within November.

The updates for the Note 2 is expected to be more substantial reported Gotta Be Mobile, as they are thought to be coming with a number of TouchWiz features in addition to the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean features.

A test build is codenamed N7100XXUEMI6 and it works with the GT-N71000 model of Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Android Origin noted that it’s a fairly easy build and is probably unstable at the moment.

The test build was originally leaked at the Tinhe forums before it was made available on the XDA a few days ago. Android Origin wrote that the update is relatively substantial and features many of the UI elements that are only available and can be found on the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

The update also has speed and performance enhancements and features Samsung’s Knox security software and Samsung Wallet for payments. Like with test firmware, the build is unverified and unstable it’s always a possibility that Samsung Galaxy Note 2 could break if you update using this build.

Aside from the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, other devices that Samsung promised to give the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update includes the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Samsung Galaxy S4.
