iPad 5 Release Date News [OFFICIAL]; Next-Gen Apple iOS Tablet Called The ‘iPad Air’ Arriving On November 1; 128 GB Model Priced At $799 Available

Finally, the highly-awaited iPad 5 release date has already been officially announced.

Today, Apple unveiled its newest tablets and confirmed as well the official iPad 5 release date, alongside iPad Mini 2. As reported by Gotta Be Mobile, iPad 5's, now officially dubbed as the iPad Air, release date in the market will be set for next month.

iPad 5 release date or, shall we say, iPad Air release date is confirmed to be fixed for Friday, November 1. In just a few days from now, iPad Air and iPad Mini 2 will arrive in the marketplace, replacing the current generations of iOS tablet, the iPad 4 and iPad Mini.

Aside from iPad Air release date, the prices for the new Apple tablets were also confirmed by the Cupertino-based tech firm. Reportedly, the cheapest iPad Air price is set similar to previous models -- $499. Meanwhile, the 32 GB iPad Air will be available for $599 and the 64 GB has a price tag worth $699. Moreover, iPad Air will also arrive with a model equipped with 128 GB storage capacity, which has a price of $799. In addition, iPad Air LTE will also begin with similar pricing as that of the iPad 4 LTE.

As for the iPad Mini 2, the starting price for the tablet will be a hundred dollar cheaper than the iPad Air, beginning at $399. The price is actually $70 more expensive than the iPad Mini which does not sport a Retina display.

Unfortunately, ardent Apple fans will not be able to pre-order the new tablet ahead of the official iPad 5 release date. During the unveiling, the tech titan did not announce a date for the pre-order and the website does not have a pre-sale list as well. Alos, since the iPhone 5S were not available for pre-orders, it is most likely that the iPad Air will follow the same suit.

More updates will definitely be posted as iPad 5 / iPad Air release date nears.
