Katy Perry Perfect As John Mayer's Wife; Says "I Live A Rock Star Kind Of Life"

Katy Perry may not have moped publicly about her failed marriage to British celebrity Russell Brand, but it doesn't mean it did not affect her at all.
According to an interview she admitted that she was so devastated that, "I was in bed for about two weeks," said Perry. 

The couple got married back in 2009, despite  the evident hate attributed to her husband (thanks to his "successful hosting of the VMAs) by America she still went on to marry the guy.

Right now she is in a relationship with Singer John Mayer. The couple may have been dating on and off for the past year, but it looks like this time they're headed down the  aisle.

During an interview with W Magazine, singer Katy Perry, 28, appears blissfully in love and admits to be now dating 'her crush.'
She was quoted during the interview to have said, "I had a crush on him for a long time and it just so happens we fit together great." She also talked about her failed marriage with Russell Brand. Despite the tremendous emotional effect the break-up had on her she now refers to it as, "everything happening for a reason." 

The brunette bombshell also talked about her latest single 'Roar.' The song recently topped US charts the moment it was released and even generated about 35 million views on her Vevo Channel in YouTube. 

Katy Perry proudly admits to finally being able to stand up for herself and staying strong which her album could attest to. The sexy songstress also admitted that her recovery from her previous split was something she personally had to work hard for and that her recovery did not come easy.
'Roar' as described by Perry, "This song is about stickin up for yourself," she told W Magazine. She further said, "People talk about bullying, but you can be your own bully in some ways."

"You can be the person who is standing in the way ofyour success, and that was the case for me."  "I was having a great professional strea, but personally, I was reallly immature, so I had to balance those things out. If you are not happy with something you should change it," she adds.

The actress openly admitted what she went through after her emotional breakdown, which she surprisingly did with composure rather than to moped in public. "So I went to a lot of therapy, and finally, I am able to speak up for myself: You are going to hear me roar!
On a separate interview when asked about her current beau John Mayer, her eyes lit up and she said, "It was  a new fun, exciting journey. But I like how i am now, and I think all things happen for a reason." Despite the on-again-off-again relationship between Perry and Mayer, they appear to be going stronger.

John Mayer is quite known as being the ladies' man. His relationship with Katy Perry is not his first high-profile one. He previously dated Taylor Swift, Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Love-Hewitt, and Jennifer Aniston.
Her latest song 'Prism' was even suspected by some as possibly inspired by John Mayer. (Read the report here)
