MacBook Pro 2013: Apple Laptop Updates Get Faster CPU Speed and Longer Battery Life

The new series of MacBook Pro 2013 has been revealed yesterday at Cupertino daring a faster computer and a longer battery life. The company's flagship laptops are upgraded with better hardware and clearer screens.

The 13-inch MacBook is pre equipped with a fourth generation dual-core Intel Core i5 processors and also a flash storage that equates to a faster response and CPU speed. Along with the new specs given, 13-inch model is now lighter, weighing in at under 3.5 pounds and slimmer than the previous generation being under an inch thin.

The smaller screen model's hardware can be upgraded to carry a faster dual-core Intel Core i7 processor that can speed up to 2.8 GHz, compared to the base model that can only peak at 2.6 GHz.

The more powerful 15-inch MacBook on the other hand, features a fourth generation quad-core Intel Core i7 processors that can boost as high as 2.3 GHz with speeds up to 3.5 GHz in Turbo Boost. This model's hardware can also be upgraded with a faster quad-core Intel Core i7 processor up to 2.6 GHz and can speed up to 3.8 GHz with Turbo Boosts showing how powerful this device can get.

Despite the speed upgrades for this laptop's CPU, the graphic performance is also boosted with the installation of the Iris Pro and GeForce GT 750M graphics that comes with 2GB of video memory.

The two models are now equipped with a screen that has a very clear retina display and are carrying Haswell processors that not only speed up the performance but also lengthens the computers' battery life. The newest technology in wireless internet connections is installed in these devices as they have 802.11 ac which is the latest in the business.

Apple Inc. said in the event that they will continue producing the best computers for everyone to enjoy.

"We've made the world's best pro notebook even better by adding more performance and even longer battery life," The tech giant's senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing Philip Schiller said. "MacBook Pro with Retina display continues to redefine the pro notebook."
