Taylor Swift Boyfriends Of The Past: Country Singer Says Her Exes Are On Her 'Shit List'

Taylor Swift boyfriends of the past make a long list. The singer tells Marie Claire magazine her former romantic partners are now on her "shit list".

Most of Swift's boyfriends have been famous men. The list of celebrities she dated include singer John Mayer, One Direction celebrity Harry Styles, actors Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Lautner from Twilight.

The 23-year-old told Marie Clair magazine in an interview that she views love as a "ruthless game". She also admitted that to her, her exes are on the list of "biggest regrets."

When asked by Marie Claire who was on her "shit list", the songwriter replied, "Exes."

Taylor Swift's boyfriends did, however, help her career. The "I Knew You were Trouble" singer admitted, "Every one of my regrets has produced a song I'm proud of. Love is a ruthless game unless you play it good and right."

The blonde celebrity also confessed that "heartbreak" is useful for her as inspiration when she writes songs. 

The Grammy-winner told E! Latin's Coffee Break: "I think when you're heartbroken you need music more than when you're not."

Taylor Swift on boyfriends and broken relationships also added, "There's something so beautiful about people who are heartbroken; they think about how they're feeling much more. I think when you're happy and when you're in love, you don't need to think about it, it's just there. Love is one of those things that is so simple, you don't need to think about it when it's good, you only need to think about it when it's bad."
