Dina Eastwood and Clint Eastwood Divorcing After 17 Years; Picture of Clint with New Girlfriend, Erica Tomlinson-Fisher, Too Sad

Dina Eastwood couldn’t take the picture of Clint Eastwood with his new girlfriend, Erica Tomlinson-Fisher.

Clint and Dina Eastwood are splitting up. Dina Eastwood filed for divorce Tuesday.

Clint Eastwood's wife, Dina Eastwood, filed for legal separation after 17 years.

Dina Eastwood had previously filed for divorce but with withdrew the papers she'd filed in September that requested a legal separation.

The separation papers were filed Tuesday in Monterey County Superior Court. Dina Eastwood wants physical custody of her only child with Clint, Morgan, who is 16. According to People magazine, Dina Eastood is also wants Clint to pay alimony and lawyers’ fees.

In September, a source close to the family told People magazine. "They were a great couple. Theirs was not only a marriage, but also a close, loving friendship. Everyone enjoyed being around them."

The Eastwood separation was announced in late August. Us Weekly reported that Dina Eastwood filed for legal separation on Sept. 9, but she withdrew the divorce papers two days after she filed them. Dina Eastwood gave no reason for pulling the papers.

The 83-year-old star of such films as “Dirty Harry” and “Play Misty for Me,” Clint Eastwood was photographed with his new girlfriend, Erica Tomlinson-Fisher in Los Angeles. Us magazine pointed out that Erica Tomlinson-Fisher used to be married to one of Dina Eastwood's high school friends.

Dina Eastwood said in a statement to the New York Daily News in early September. "I am saddened to see photos of Clint with Ms. Tomlinson-Fisher. I look forward to new beginnings."

Clint and Dina Eastwood have been married since 1996.
