Prince Harry, Girlfriend Cressida Bonas NOT Getting Engaged Yet? Not Invited To ‘Private’ Prince George Christening

Prince Harry attended his nephew Prince George's christening without his girlfriend Cressida Bonas. Prince Harry's girlfriend Cressida Bonas was not invited to Prince George's christening - does this mean they are no longer getting engaged?

A royal source told People magazine that Prince Harry's girlfriend Cressida's attendance at the christening would put an even brighter spotlight on her and Harry's relationship, E! News reports, and perhaps a spotlight that would not be appropriate.

"If she went to this totally private service, it would be tantamount to saying they were about to be engaged," the source said.

Does this imply that Prince Harry and his girlfriend Cressida Bonas are NOT getting engaged?

A congregation member told E! News about Prince George's christening: "It's not just intimate, it's absolutely private."

In fact, only five members of senior Royal Family were invited. The Queen and Prince Philip were in attendance along with Prince Charles and Camilla, Express reports.

Perhaps the event was too personal and too much of a family event for Cressida to be invited, considering she and Harry have been dating for nearly 18 months.

However, rumors have been flying that Prince Harry and his girlfriend Cressida were to get engaged by the end of this year, and possibly even married by next year.

Her lack of an invitation to the event makes it seem as though their relationship is not as serious as it once seemed.

As a congregation member told E! News about the christening event: "William and Kate apparently want this to be a low-profile, personal event...While it's stunning, and regal in a quiet way, it's a million miles from the pomp and circumstance of their wedding."

The 45-minute ceremony was presided over by the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Rev. Justin Welby, and took place in the Chapel Royal at St. James' Palace in London, E! News reports.

Following the service, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall gave a private tea party in Clarence House, where guests were served slices of christening cake, according to Express.
