IPhone 5s And 5c Release Date: Apple’s Most Desirable Handsets Are Now Available In 35 Countries Worldwide

The second wave of iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c's release happened today. The initial roll out happened last September, where Apple launched both of its handsets to only 11countries including of course the U.S.

The countries included in the company's roll out are: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, French West Indies, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Reunion Island, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan and Thailand.

The roll out will continue come November 1, as the giant Cuppertino based company plans to ship its 7th generation iPhones to 16 more countries, the handsets are expected to reach 100 nations by December 2013.

iPhone 5c's availability is expected to be enough to supply the global masses, but whether or not Apple will face the same supply constraint it had for the iPhone 5s is remain to be seen. This is not the company's most aggressive roll out supplies are quite tight compared to last year's iPhone 5.

Comparatively, the countries listed above had access to iPhone 5 by the end of September; clearly, iPhone 5s and 5c's launch is slower than expected.

According to previous information, Apple is reportedly increasing the production of iPhone 5s while cutting down its production for the cheaper plastic-backed iPhone 5c in preparation for its continued international roll out.

Reports from Boston-based Localytics said that iPhone 5s is approximately 3.4 times more popular in the U.S. as compared to iPhone 5c and most likely 3.7 times more popular worldwide.

Sources from Consumer Intelligence Research Partners also claimed to AllThingsD that iPhone 5s has outsold the iPhone 5c by more than a two-to-one margin from the time of the its rollout last September 20, in addition the iPhone 5s accounted for 64 percent of new iPhone sales and the iPhone 5c for just 27 percent.

Surprisingly though, according to venturebeat.com a representative from Localytics told him that iPhone 5c's sales is starting to catch up with the more flashy iPhone 5s.

"About one month since the initial launch of the iPhone 5S and 5C, the 5C is steadily gaining traction as the ratio of active 5S's to 5Cs in the U.S. is down by a factor of 1.9X," according to venturebeat.com.
