Celebrity Breakup News: Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr Divorce, Legolas Lost a Ring

In the latest celebrity breakup news, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr called it quits after three years of marriage.

The celebrity couple announced recently via a representative that they have ended their relationship.

 "In a joint statement, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced that they have been amicably separated for the past few months. After six years together, they have recently decided to formalize their separation. Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family," said the representative to the public.

The "Lord of the Rings" and the Victoria Secret model started dating in 2007 and tied the knot in 2010. They have a two-year old son, Flynn, who will be turning three this coming January.

Photographers last spotted the two together on October 8. The 36-year old British actor is currently starring in "Romeo and Juliet" in New York. Bloom leads the production alongside Condola Rashad. The show opened last September 19 where the two were last seen in public together.

Miranda was impressed by her then-husband's performance after watching the show.

"When I saw Orlando on Broadway in Romeo and Juliet, I was blown away," Kerr told Cosmopolitan. "For someone to be able to learn all that and hold the energy to do it every day, six days a week-I have so much respect for him. We don't run lines though. We keep that very separate. That would be like me asking him to teach me how to catwalk."

Being parents that they are, they also shared with InStyle Magazine how they are so blessed with their son. The actor who portrayed Legolas in "Lord of the Rings" said, "I won't spend more than two or three weeks away from him." The model mom also expressed her joy saying that she doesn't spend more than a week away from her son because she said the "she won't, she can't."
