Smash' Director Michael Morris and Mary McCormack Marriage In Danger After Photos Of Liplock With The Cancelled NBC Show's Star Katharine McPhee Surface

Michael Morris Mary McCormack marital bliss is in danger, courtesy the Smash' director's kissing scandal with Katharine McPhee.

The photo of their public display of affection lip lock was released last week and caused quite a stir, to the extent of turning Morris' life upside down.

According to reports by TMZ and US Weekly, Michael Morris' wife Mary McCormack is miffed with her husband and has 'thrown him out' of their Los Angeles Home.

Sources close to the couple say that McCormack is contemplating separation from her husband of 10 years. Morris and McCormack have been married since 10 years and have three children Rose, Lillian, and Margaret.

The Smash director apparently confessed to his wife about his affair with McPhee after he discovered that the kissing photos are about to go on the Web, according to DailyMail.

"She had no idea anything had been going on. The last thing she ever thought was that he was seeing another woman," a source informed Life & Style magazine.

On the other hand, the 'Unbroken' Katharine McPhee is embarrassed over the kissing scandal with her former 'Smash' director. The 'American Idol' alum married Nick Cokas in 2008.

While Morris and McCormack 'were' a happy married couple at the time of the kiss and leaked saga, McPhee and husband Cokas had separated six months ago.

None of the three celebs involved in the scandal have commented on the matter, either in person or through their reps. Public relations mavericks advise McPhee to clarify her stand, one way or the other, or else her 'American Sweetheart' will be replaced by 'Home Wrecker.'

They also remarked that Mary McCormack, on the other hand, could capitalize on her fate (once she gets over the trauma) to get lot more opportunities and limelight than she currently enjoys.
