Lea Michele Shows Frail-Looking Body In A Magazine Event; 'Glee' Star's Friends Admit She's Having Difficulty Eating Since Cory Monteith's Death

Lea Michele appears to be thinner ever since her on-and-off screen boyfriend Cory Monteith passed away three months ago. Reports say that while the brunette beauty is doing her best to cope with Monteith's sudden loss, her appetite for eating has dramatically decreased.

During ELLE magazine's Women in Hollywood affair last October 21, Michele appeared stunning in her beige cutout dress. However, onlookers couldn't help but notice her frail-looking body. Insiders claim that the friends of the 27-year-old actress is determined to help her in regaining her appetite: "They want to make sure that she will eat, since that has rarely occurred since the news of his passing. She is not being left alone because they want to be by her and make sure she has a good base of people for support."

Since the tragic death of Monteith, the actress has been depending on her friends. Sources claim that the actress "does not like to be alone" during this painful period of adjustment. "She really struggled. It was hard to get up every morning but now, she's doing okay," says one source to People.

The 'Glee' star does not waste time in appreciating the blessings her friends bring. After recently spending the weekend with her close pals and former 'Spring Awakening' co-stars Skylar Astin and Jonathan Groff in San Francisco, she immediately wrote a tweet: "Back from an amazing weekend in SF with these boys! So grateful for such amazing friends."

Another noticeable element from Michele's recent appearance is her diamond ring. While fans speculated that Monteith proposed to the actress before he passed away, one source denied the claims. Apart from constantly surrounding herself with friends, Michele is similarly coping up with the loss by preparing for the release of her first solo album. She has similarly adopted a new dog, Pearl.
