Nexus 5 Release Date Rumors: Available November 1? Twitter Tipster Reveals Possible End-Of-Week Phone Launch

New renderings and spec information of the Nexus 5 were released by a technology release informant on Sunday, slating November 1 as the expected release date for the phone.

In a tweet on Sunday, @evleaks posted a new rendering of the Nexus 5, showing the device with a white back cover and a short but tantalizing message: "In white. 11/1," the International Business Times writes.

The twitter user did not mention if Google would release the phone on that particular day or if the announcement for the product will be made.

Google also accidentally published product shots of the Nexus 5 on its Google Play Store last week, giving more impetus to the release of the new phone.

Bluetooth SIG, which frequently released information about upcoming phones in the market, published a certification of a device entitled "LG-D821," which is largely expected to be the official name for the Nexus 5.

Google confirmed to The Verge last week that it has no plans to restock the 8GB Nexus 4, BGR reports, confirming the release of the Nexus 5.

"While the 16GB model is still available in Google's online shop, this could be a very good indication that the next-generation Nexus 5 is on the way," BGR writes.

"And according unnamed sources speaking with Droid Life, the Nexus 5 will indeed launch sometime in October, likely toward the end of the month."

Earlier this year, speculation rose as to whether Google would continue working with LG on the Nexus 5 as it explored working with several other different development companies including Motorola.

Google held a press event on October 24, which was slated as the official announcement of the Nexus 5.

While the phone has not been released, one eBay user listed the phone for $650, signaling the great demand people have for the new product.
