iPad Mini 2 Release Date Hinted By Apple Retailer, To Hit Stores On November 21

When Apple announced its new slates, almost everyone expected the iPad Air to come out as early as this week. But that's not the case with the smaller slate, which did not get an exact iPad mini 2 release date.

Target, an official retailer of Apple products, posted on its website on Wednesday that the Retina mini will be available on the 21st of November, a Thursday, which means the slate is just in time for holiday shopping.

According to BGR, while Apple has not been known for releasing devices on Thursdays, the fact that the tip was provided by an official retailer is no small deal either.

Another proof is that since Target put up the page for the iPad mini 2's availability, it hasn't taken it down.

The Retina mini is expected to sell millions of units due to its simple design and affordable price range. The 16GB edition is expected to retail at only $399.
